Haute-Isle

The village of Haute-Isle, in Val-d’Oise, is located between the valley of the Seine and the Vexin plateau, at the foot of the steep limestone cliffs, which offer remarkable panoramic views onto a protected nature site. Haute-Isle was a troglodyte town, with its first populations dating back to the Prehistoric era. Its troglodyte church of the Annunciation is listed as a historical landmark.
