Port-Jérôme

Port Jérôme was created in 1861, during the rule of Napoleon III, and was named in honour of Jérôme Bonaparte, the younger brother of Emperor Napoleon I. Since 2016, Port-Jérôme-sur-Seine belongs to the department of Seine-Maritime, the economic centre for the Communauté d'Agglomération (an intermunicipal cooperation project) called Caux vallée de Seine.
